Is kick boxing dangerous?

my friends have taken up kick boxing and i think i'd really enjoy it. i'm sixteen years old. my dad said no immedietly that it wont be safe. i know he used to do judo though. is kickboxing really all that dangerous or is it pretty safe?

I don't think you have to be a believer nor a humanist to sense that there's something wrong with spending outrageous amounts of money in the name of materialism. It's doubly disgusting that people of faith do it b/c it's hypocritical (I know Jesus and Mohammed preached against acquiring 'things of this world'; idk about other religions); at least when an atheist does it, there's nothing in his/her belief system to say that it's wrong.

My Sliding door on a Plymouth Voyager will NOT shut. It slides almost to closed position, but will not engage?

I've seen other type of car doors Not shut before too. I think it is in the Door portion of the lock. It does not seem to be in the correct position. How do I move the part that is hindering the door's ability to shut?
