If you only have a GED you will have to score much higher on your asvaps test and get a number of references, you could also fill a waiver. In any case, FORGET WHAT ANYBODY HERE SAYS! ASK A RECRUITER!!!!!! A Recruiter will guide you through what you need and WILL get you in. Im sure you will not have any problem joining!
