Ski/snowboard gear question?

I have an oakley jacket that i got on sale and i relized that the second layer that zips into the jacket isn't the right size (probably why it was so cheap) I can still wear the inner layer but it doesn't fit close to the skin so its not very warm. I've tried wearing sweatshirts but they're too heavy and I can't move easily. I want a baselayer that goes up to my neck so the wind won't get in especially on the lifts cuz I ski at night. I would say i would get underarmour but its way to expensive and the same with northface and i'm not really sure its worth it since i might want to buy several shirts so i don't have to wear the same one everyday cuz that's kinda gross.
