Potential relationship?

There's this girl in my cl (cindy) that I like and think she likes me. She always talks to me on MSN. It's just that she was in a relationship with this other guy (sean) and she doesn't like him anymore (i think - they don't dance at school dances anymore) but I know that sean still likes her. Should I ask her out? Or should I hold back?
