Why does she do this?

Theres this girl in my homeroom cl, dont know her , and shes always saying hi to me in the hall and stuff, and knows my name even though I didnt tell her. what does this mean? I think shes good looking, but im not sure if she thinks the same towards me, because she doesnt talk to me in homeroom. is she just saying hi just to be nice?
