My Sliding door on a Plymouth Voyager will NOT shut. It slides almost to closed position, but will not engage?

I've seen other type of car doors Not shut before too. I think it is in the Door portion of the lock. It does not seem to be in the correct position. How do I move the part that is hindering the door's ability to shut?
