Am i in love with him even if i don't believe in love?

okay so i asked a question the other day about this guy i was with but not dating.and he was all over protective and stuff. Well he just asked me out yesterday. I went over to his house and he gave me his stuffed kangaroo that meant the world to him. His grandfather gave it to him when he was four! He looked me in my eyes and said "I love you will you go out with me?" and i got all excited and almost cried and said YES! of course i was going to say yes i am in love with this boy. But i used to htink love was a farytail a hoax a joke. is it? i mean did i really find somebody that i love and want to be with even at this age he is two years older and i really feel like i love him
