Did Leonardo Da Vinci formulate the law about stream in pipes which is showed in Bernoulli's equation in fluid?

Leonardo Da Vinci? He is a painter, an artist and he did not formulate the equation used to determine difference in heads (i.e pressure heads, velocity heads & elevation heads) in fluids. Mr. Bernoullis himself formulate that theory called Bernoullis' Energy Theorem.
