Who was better? George Foreman or Mohammed Ali?

Ali in all respects. Ali's impact on the whole of society puts him in a cl by himself that only Joe Louis or Jack Johnson can even gain entrance to. The fact that Ali fought a significant number of history's greatest heavyweights, and beat if not dominated most if not all of them clearly makes Ali superior over all to George. It's a quality issue, not a quantity issue. George was great in his own right, but there are many (some would argue all) great heavyweights who never reached Ali's skill level or status.
