What is the best way to wash a Tylie Malibu purse?

I own a black suede utility Tylie Malibu purse that I spent all of my birthday money on and I want to wash the inside. I don't want to scratch the crystals on the handle. What is the best way and most efficient way of doing this? Should I put it in a pillowcase, then in the washer, use a special detergent/soap, etc? Thanks in advance :)
